Roles include the front desk, meeting and greeting visitors, dealing with enquiries and shop sales; Gallery Attendants, supervising the main galleries, assisting visitors with information and guidance; Collections volunteers, working with the reserve collections including cataloguing and conservation; Display volunteers, assisting with temporary exhibitions and updating permanent displays; fundraising, social events, education activities, administration, publicity etc.

Training is given in all areas and people of all ages enjoy working with people of similar interests, keep active and stimulated.

Join Us: THE SOCIETY OF BEXHILL MUSEUMS LTD
The museum’s governing body is a registered company limited by guarantee and a registered charity. In addition to running the museum and providing finance for revenue and capital projects, the Society has a programme of events for members and visitors both educational and social. These include afternoon lectures, outings, coffee mornings, guided walks and lunch outings.

Membership of the Society is open to all, if you would like to join us please print off the form and post with your payment to the museum address shown.
