Next of our Summer Lectures coming up!
Shepherds' Huts with Gillian Beecher. On Wednesday 19th June at 2.30
Held in the Education Room, Bexhill Museum, Gillian will be giving us something different this time. She plans to wear a genuine shepherd's smock and will tell some new stories from the folklore of the world of the shepherds. As well as providing shelter during lambing on the Sussex Downs, find out what role they played in World War 2. Artefacts to be examined include a genuine Sussex crook. Places are limited so do come early.
