Don't forget - you can join us on Monday 9th August and Monday 16th August from 11am until 2pm in Egerton Park, Bexhill, as part of the Rother Children's Centres summer activities.

 Family Fossil Hunts

Weather and tide permitting, the Family Fossil Hunts are being investigated for a winter season!  
  
Fossil hunting on Bexhill beach is more productive during the winter. The rough, stormy sea churns up new fossil material better than in the summer months.   
  
Hopefully, there will be plenty of opportunities over the coming winter months for good fossiling. It really isn’t much fun on the beach on the cold and wet, so if it’s raining the walk will not go ahead. If the walks are scheduled for a weekday and it’s raining, please call the Museum on 01424 213026 prior to the meeting time to confirm and on a weekend, assume the worst and stay in wrapped up!
